DL Aaron Donald from early August: “We just don’t see eye to eye” Less than a month ago http://www.losangelesramsteamonline....-donald-jersey , Los Angeles Rams VP/COO Kevin Demoff had this to say regarding contract negotiations with DL Aaron Donald:With Donald having held out last year into the regular season and now holding out again this year with the regular season looming two weeks from today, anxiety is high among the fan base over a possible extension. Rams Head Coach Sean McVay alluded to the suggestion that he and the training staff would like to have him by the end of this week to acclimate him to NFL training and gameplay speed and whatnot. But a new interview with Demoff with SiriusXM radio cleared things up...well not at all:It’s not very different than that interview he gave to the Mighty1090 in training camp.“We just don’t agree” has turned into “we don’t see eye-to-eye,” and Demoff continues to insinuate that there’s a balance between signing Donald to their terms and threatening their future suggesting that signing him above a certain rate would hinder the team’s ability to remain competitive. It is what it is.And on a day when the New York Giants and their fans are celebrating locking down one of the NFL’s best wide receivers in Odell Beckham Jr., the Rams and Aaron Donald are still where they’ve been for more than a year.Which is hardly comfortable right now.(UPDATED August 27, 3:38pm ET)Just heard back from SiriusXM. The audio was from an interview earlier this month.Have to wonder how recent developments have progressed and how, given the two sides weren’t seeing eye-to-eye http://www.losangelesramsteamonline....rley-ii-jersey , that might have changed...Los Angeles Rams versus Arizona Cardinals: Five Cardinals to watch revisited The Los Angeles Rams came out of the home opener with a decisive 34-0 victory against the Arizona Cardinals. With now a 2-0 record overall and 1-0 in the division, the Rams are building cushion in their defense of the NFC West crown. RB David JohnsonJohnson was held in check by the Rams defense. While many Cardinals fans are upset at the usage of Johnson so far this season with new Offensive Coordinator Mike McCoy, Johnson hasn’t helped with his production either with only 48 yards on 13 carries against the Rams. This was the second longest of the day for Johnson. The Rams did much better against the run, especially from the get-go in this game.CB Patrick PetersonPeterson had an okay game. Although he was active with eight total tackles, a TFL, PD http://www.losangelesramsteamonline....er-kupp-jersey , and interception, cornerbacks racking up a lot of tackles are usually not a good thing.Considering the Rams had 354 yards in the air, I’m sure Peterson wasn’t too happy with his personal or unit’s performance.WR Larry FitzgeraldFitzgerald was going to have a tough day with CB’s Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib looking to lock him down. Couple that with only 27 total passing attempts by the Cardinals for the entire game, Fitz just didn’t have the oppportunities. Fitzgerald still lead his team in receiving with three catches for 28 yards on five targets. EDGE Chandler JonesJones had a relatively quiet day but did prevent a touchdown by knocking down a pass that was intended for WR Brandin Cooks. Jones finished with one tackle and one pass defended.QB Sam BradfordFormer Rams QB Sam Bradford had a rough day facing pressure and being unable to get into a rhythm. Bradford finished the game with 17/27 passing with only 90 yards and an interception. The questions will only get louder as fans want the team to turn to first round pick Josh Rosen.
